The newest update to the JAM Comics collection is here! Blaster #1 introduces a new hero and features the return of The Ripper!! Another old school creation of mine. This one is more of an original than some of the other characters I created in my youth. His origin is a mystery! What does his future hold? Why is The Ripper after him? None of these questions is answered in this issue! But, who knows what could happen in the future? Sharing all these old creations of mine has spawned some serious ideas floating around in my head...
If you're interested in getting updates whenever new content is uploaded to the site. Why not follow me on social media? You can follow me on twitter @JAM_Creates or Like the Facebook page for the site at www.facebook.com/JAMCreates
You can also email me at [email protected] I would love to hear from you! While you're there you can check out this sweet banner and cover page with a rad 90's edge to it! It is also in the ART section of the site. Here's a new snack bag that my daughter has been using recently. It's a drawing of the space shuttle. My daughter has been working on a huge project that she just presented today all about Sally Ride. The first American woman in space. It also just so happens that Sally Ride's birthday just past this week. So a snack bag memorial was in order! It has been added to the ART section.
This new picture is a 3D rendered pic I like to call "Book Altar". It is also part of that same video intro as the Cave Painting that I did for my wife's school club. In the finished video it was composited with a hand drawn character and a video clip of a burning flame. The Book Altar was created entirely in Vue 6 Easel. It has been added to the ART section. Enjoy!
The newest addition to the JAM Comics collection is here just in time for Memorial Day! Company 3 is an elite army unit tasked with special missions that only they can handle. Sign up recruit and read issue #1! I created this comic way back in 1988! This is one of the oldest JAM Comics there is. One of the sure signs of how old this one is, the paper it was drawn on. Not only has the paper yellowed with age, but it was paper for a dot matrix printer with the little holes along the sides! Kids, ask your parents what that last sentence means.
UPDATE: All of the JAM Comics have now been updated to the new format for easier reading. Check 'em out!
I'm trying out a new way to present the comics that I hope will make them easer to read in browser. Now all you have to do is scroll down the page to read the comic. Of course, you can still download a pdf version as well. Check out the new version of Night Stalker issue #1 now presented in this new way! Here is a drawing of a Giraffe that I did a few years ago. Not as old as some of the other stuff on the site, but I thought I'd share it. I drew it by hand then scanned it and colored it in photoshop. I think it has a nice flat cartoony look to it. I have added it to the ART section.
The newest JAM Comic to arrive is ROAD KNIGHT!! A big rig loaded with weapons and a few secrets! Action! Power! Trucks! What more could you want? Well read on and you'll see that ROAD KNIGHT has even more in store! Including a strangely small H in the title on the cover! This is another oldie from my youth. MAD MAX has nothing on ROAD KNIGHT! Enjoy!
Here's a little more 3d ART for you. I modeled a flat fish and then put it into two different environments. One was a more cartoonish environment and the other more realistic. It was an experiment in 3d modeling and differences in lighting and environments. They have been added to the ART section. Enjoy and Just keep swimming!
